Red dress

I should write poems about you but I'm out of words. You've taken my breath away countless time. You've taken it away from me again with elegance. A red dress, and lipstick to match. The colour of danger has covered the one I love. You've left me lost for words. Cannot begin to seek what was never meant to be found. My happiness is in the peace of finding my love for you.  A sick man's poem.  ~Khwezi.

Khwezi

Let me introduce myself. My name is Khwezi Shelembe, in full it is Khwezilokusa, meaning morning star in Zulu. I come from the city of Durban, South Africa, and was born in the early hours of the day in September. My mother was blessed to have given birth to a baby boy. It is no surprise she gave me the name Blessing which I am commonly known by. Coming from a humble background, I have learned to appreciate life's ups and downs. I was fortunate enough to be sent to a good school where I developed my language a bit further from my friends back home. As I grew, I stumbled upon the notepad app on my Blackberry at the time and began to express myself, starting with what is similar to vanity cards. Description  Romantically life is made up of different paths all of which drive us closer to our soulmate. The one person whom you will love and cherish for the rest of your life. Soulmuse is the idea of a writer being driven towards writing about their soulmate, or the quest to finding one rather. The quest is riddled with chances lost, and opportunities taken along with sacrifices. Tagged with pain and confusion the writer has experienced on the journey to love.  The soul is a beautiful piece of poetry. This blog will be updated with poems on a regular basis. I write what I feel, and vent on my notepad. Down at the bottom I'll have a link to my book on wattpad. Where I posted my work. The book is compiled with 80+ parts of poetry based off personal experiences with love. Will post more on that link and this blog. The book should give you a gest of my style of writing and what is to come. Often  my writing strays from love and leads to sad poems and depressing thoughts. ...
